Personal Assessments Focused on Success
Have you found yourself rethinking your current career?
Are you looking for a career that: “fits right”?
Do you want to learn more about yourself and uncover your hidden talents?
NOW IS THE TIME!
Your career planning decisions and the career path you choose will determine the patterns and textures of your life and career – whom you marry, where you live, your income, how much time you spend at home, your travels, and how you spend your leisure time.
Research indicates that most people leave high school and college without a clear plan to guide them in selecting and pursuing a career or occupation. Years later many people feel overwhelmed by a job or career and they often fail to plan adequately for the changes they need to make to restore balance in their lives.
NOW IS THE TIME!!
As 1 of more than 250 Affiliates of the Highlands Company I am trained and certified to administer the Highlands Ability Battery and to interpret its results in a 2-hour personal consultation. Using your HAB results I will help you design a roadmap that will lead you to a successful and satisfying career that “fits right”.
Unlike tests of skills, personality, interests, or values – all of which are influenced by changes over time – your abilities are assessed through the actual performance of tasks that measure how easily you can perform these tasks. The Highlands Ability Battery requires the test taker to follow instructions on the computer screen (reproduced in audio) and then to “do" and “recognize” something in response. In all, the HAB takes 3.5 hours to complete and can be taken anywhere there is a viable Internet connection.
Whether you are a student in search of your career path or a working adult who needs some re-energizing/redirection or a recent (or soon to be) retiree who is looking for a new path – volunteer-part time-self employment – or anything in between…
NOW IS THE TIME!!!
Rediscover who you are by uncovering your natural abilities.
You are more than you think you are!

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a self-report questionnaire designed to identify valuable differences between normal, healthy people. The MBTI is utilized in a variety of organizations to identify the ways in which decisions are made and communication is maintained. Understanding the results will last a lifetime.
Jeanne Taylor McClellan facilitates this information packed workshop that is an experiential approach to understanding why we behave as we do and why others react to you as they do It involves completing The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (about 20 minutes, completed before the session) and then participating in a variety of activities that demonstrate why the following sentences may sound very familiar.
- “Please talk to me ~ even if it’s only to tell me why you’re not talking to me”
- “I want everyone to be happy ~ at least happy enough so that nobody comes bothering me.”
- “It’s not enough to be told that you love me ~ please supply more details.”
- “I haven’t told myself that I’m getting older, because I hoped I wouldn’t notice.”
- “You’re not angry with me, are you, just because I did something foolish which hurt you deeply?”
- “I have nothing to apologize for: I’m just sorry about everything in general.”
- “Let’s organize this thing and take all the fun out of it.”
- “I can do anything I decide to do ~ the only thing I can’t do is make decisions.”
Participants receive a detailed 18-page report with their results. The report is a highly personalized narrative and graphic representation of their personality profile. It describes in detail the individual's four-letter type and the Step II facets are presented graphically. The results are then applied to four important components of professional development: communication, change management, decision-making, and conflict management. The report describes the individual's style and suggests ways of using that style more effectively.
